James "Hunt" Johnson is an experienced attorney who has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since 1998. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994 and his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1998.
Mr. Johnson has served as a Attorney with McGuire Woods L.L.P. from 2011-2012; in a judicial capacity as the Alamance County Clerk of Superior Court and Ex Officio Judge of Probate from 2009-2010; as the Managing Attorney of the Graham Office of Vernon, Vernon, Wooten, Brown, Andrews & Garrett, P.A. from 2000-2009; and as an Assistant District Attorney in the 3-B Prosecutorial District of North Carolina from 1998-2000. He has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
The majority of Mr. Johnson's diverse practice is focused upon general civil litigation with an emphasis on estate, trust, and real estate litigation; traffic violations and criminal defense; and representation of individuals and small business owners.
